Lat pulldowns stress not only
the lats but also the delts, biceps, brachialis and
forearms. Lat pulldowns are performed by taking an
overgrip of the handle and while in a seated position pulling
the weight toward the chest. One should arch the back
while performing the lat pulldown movement. Lat
pulldowns can also be performed behind the neck as well
and the hand position can be modified somewhat to give some
variation to the movement.
